Audit Commission continued its support for CPA Sports Carnival

On 6 June 2026 (Saturday), Prof. Nelson Lam, Director of Audit, attended by invitation the CPA Sports Carnival 2026 co-hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors, and served as one of the officiating guests at the opening ceremony. He believed physical activities should be encouraged for its benefits to health. While some of the events were affected by the unstable weather, the carnival delivered its promise as a leisurely, joyful networking hub for members of the accounting industry to exchange and connect at their spare time.

Prof. Lam also remarked that the CPA Sports Carnival is an annual gala for the sector that celebrates physical and mental wellness and the Audit Commission is pleased to be a supporting organisation yet again this year to show its ongoing support for industry events. He looked forward to contributing continued efforts to promote the healthy growth of the accounting sector in various ways and to tell the good stories of auditing with fellow members of the industry.
